We played at home for the last time this season with a lot on the line for all 3 teams. Cementing a solid spot in the finals for the Under 19’s and Seniors, whilst the Reserves had their eyes on sending some veterans off with a win in their final games for the club.

The Club again supported STOP. One Punch Can Kill. in round 9 vs Donvale Football Club. Both clubs came together to support a community free of street and social violence, and all 3 games were played in great spirit.

Round 8 was an extremely important one for the Bloods coming off some tough losses over the past few weeks. The resulting 3 wins were just what the doctor ordered, bringing our season back on track.

Round 7 was always going to be a tough one against a largely undefeated Belgrave South football club. We ventured out on what was tipped to be a wet and windy day to find surprisingly perfect conditions for football.

Round 6 was a return to our home ground to face Ferntree Gully. A club that has had a strong start to the season would really test the Bloods this week. We were also celebrating out past players, with a reunion of the 1999 premiership team.

Our 2019 campaign kicked off at home on Saturday, with round 1 being our community sponsors round. It was a fantastic day, with a great turn out and perfect weather for footy. Thanks to all attended to make Round 1 a success and a great place to be.
