The Executive Committee and entire Football department are extremely excited to share with our loyal members, sponsors, players, volunteers and supporters some exciting club signings for 2019, which we believe will go far in providing us with the X-factor this EFL Division 3 premiership season.

Ex- AFL Melbourne Football Club Captain Jack Grimes (Hurstbridge), brothers Nathan (Upper Murray League) and Tom Grimes (Hurstbridge), together with brother in-law Paul Donahoo (Prahran) will for the first time in their football careers play together for the one club, our club, Warrandyte FC. On Monday night they met for this official club photo and their excitement to join the club as Blood brothers was palpable. Another key recruit from Hurstbridge has been Div 2 former captain and premiership player, Sean Jellie and Luke Hodge from Hampden Football League, Portland (not pictured).

Congratulations to all involved in this sensational signing, which will bring a new depth of experience and on-field leadership to the team and we warmly welcome them to the club.

The excitement has been building at pre-season training with huge numbers, with us retaining 95% of our list, and adding some key recruits including: Liam Appleby, Kyle Appleby, Nicholas Bean, Oliver Bell, Tim Foster, Leo Garrick, Kale Gibson Oscar Hodgson, Bryce Mullane, Harrison Nitschinsk, Michael Richards and Jack Van Der Ree. With ex-Bloods whom have come home hungry again, including former Best & Fairest premiership player David “Jobby” Hand having a run this week.
